RAT?

I always wonder, how come someone call himself Rat. Be it Rathalos or Ratheal, both name resembles the use of "Rat". Since Rathalos and his alt Ratheal joined our guild few weeks back, i try to dissect on every reason on why people use "Rat" as part of their name. While i am unable to proceed with any particular research on the phenomenon, i am determine to understand about rat.

Before i bring u further into the world of Rat, lets bring u some facts about Rat. Rats are distinguished from mice by their size; rats generally have bodies longer than 12 cm. The normal lifespan of rats ranges from two to five years, and is typically three years. Rat typically used by human as pets, as a subjects of scientific research or as food in some of the country. Describing a person as "rat-like" usually implies he is unattractive and suspicious (1).

However, the Rat (鼠) was welcomed in ancient times as a protector and bringer of material prosperity. It is an animal associated with aggression, wealth, charm, and order. In the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of the Rat is associated with the earthly branch symbol (2).

So, what is my humble opinion on whether good rat or bad rat?

While watching the Euro 2008 match between France and Romania of Group D, i finally able to made up my conclusion. Having betting with my dad on this match, i was sitting in front of the tv, chasing the live televast game. I bet for Romania, having my dad taken France and giving me a half ball handicapped.

Romania played brilliantly against the odds by holding back France attack again and again (bertubi-tubi). One particular player that caught my eye is a Romanian right back name "RAT" (Razvan Dinca Rat). He is able to diffuse Florent Malouda and France attack consistently. Rat has established himself as Romania's first-choice left-back after he began his international career in January 2000 against Mexico. Not surprisingly for someone who started in the game as a midfield creator, he loves to push forward along the flank and is a highly skilled crosser of the ball (3). The match is a bored draw. But it does allow me to win RM10 of betting and the bragging rights at least for 1 night.

In view of that, i hereby concluded that Rat is never malicious. Rat is cute, friendly, can defend, dps and heal. I hereby also declare that Immortaliz and COS is an anti lab rat testing guild. Do not kill or harm rat in any of your experiment please.
